High School CLAY

The Creative Leaders Affirming Youth (C.L.A.Y.) High School Curriculum is designed to help youth build healthy relationships, strengthen social and emotional skills, and prevent youth violence. This curriculum is the apex of the C.L.A.Y. in schools pathway, empowering and equipping high school students with the tools to address domestic violence and sexual violence directly.

Research shows that over 80% of teens experiencing dating or domestic violence first turn to their peers for support. Through engaging lessons, media, and interactive learning activities, scholars explore key topics including healthy relationships, warning signs of abuse, sexual assault education, healthy community, gender stereotypes, and gender-based violence.

The C.L.A.Y. High School Curriculum is facilitated by trained staff from The Good Foot Arts Collective in official partnership with school districts, school administrators, school staff, and leadership teams. This 11-session curriculum is classroom-tested, culturally relevant, and informed by proven data and outcomes.

Following completion of the C.L.A.Y. High School Curriculum, students have an opportunity to apply and join Youth Collective, The Good Foot’s leadership pathway through different advocacy and art mediums. Check out our Youth Collective page to learn more about this transformative afterschool leadership and mentoring program.
